Step 1 -- Open Outlook Express
Step 2 -- On the text menu across the top, click on "Tools"
Step 3 -- In the menu that drops down, click on "Accounts"
Step 4 -- In the dialog box that appears, click on the "Add" button
Step 5 -- From the pop-up menu that appears, select "Mail"
Step 6 -- In the new window that appears, enter your name, then click "Next"
Step 7 -- In the new window that appears make sure the option "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use" is selected
Step 8 -- Enter your email address in the space provided, then click "Next" (be sure to enter your address in the format: name @ domain)
Step 9 -- In the this window, first make sure that POP 3 has been selected
Step 10 -- Next, enter your incoming mail server, usually in the format mail.domain.com or just domain.com
Step 11 -- Now, enter your outgoing mail server information and click Next, this is generally the same as the incoming server
Step 12 -- Enter your user name, this is usually the first part of your email address (the part before the @). (name@domain)
Step 13 -- Enter your password, supplied by your provider, and click "Next"
Step 14 -- If you have an account supplied by LYNX TDC as part of your hosting package, you will need to double click on your account name in the following screen. If not, skip to the last step.
Step 15 -- Click on the "Servers" tab along the top of the window that appears.
Step 16 -- Check the box titled "My server requires authentication" and click on the "More Settings" button.
Step 17 -- In the window that appears, select the option labeled "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" and click OK.
Final Step -- And now your done, Click the buttons required to properly exit from all open windows.
